Would you accept a white actor playing Muhammad Ali?
Such a proposal would rightly be regarded as outrageous and offensive, but why are we expected to accept historic white figures of British history being played by non-white actors?
It may seem trivial and petty to argue against the “colour blind casting” of non-white actors in historic white roles, but this is just one everyday example of the insidious re-shaping of British history and culture employed by the Wokerati.
What is the motive behind this practise? It can’t be to give employment to out-of-work black actors, and so it must have another purpose.
Could it be the drip, drip, drip subliminal process of brainwashing impressionable young minds to believe that Britain has always been a multi-cultural society when it has not?
A more egregious example of this brainwashing process is to be found in the children’s book “Brilliant Black British History” by the Nigerian writer Atinuke.
Targetted at 7-year olds this unmitigated drivel contends that Britain was first inhabited by black people seven thousand years before white people arrived, and that they, the original black people, were responsible for building Stonehenge.
The book is promoted by the Book Trust, a charity part-funded by the British taxpayer through the Arts Council. Surely, a charity should be careful not to promote propaganda aimed at manipulating the young.
