The Brexit Fightback Initiative

For MPs and members of the public who need the Brexit basics – fast © Brexit Facts4EU.Org Summary of factsheets to date The Brexit Fightback Initiative is a superb series of one-pagers on all aspects of Brexit. Every few days we add a new one, until we run out of money. Here we condense our years of research of official EU information into easily-digestible chunks. One topic per one-pager. Naturally we can’t include all the facts on each subject or these one-pagers would become 10-pagers and no-one would read them. Instead we have picked some key facts for each topic. Below are the factsheets available to date. We will update this page each time we produce a new factsheet. Produced by Brexit Facts4EU.Org, each factsheet is endorsed by…

About Us

We started detailed research of the EU and Brexit in 2015. We launched the website early in 2016 and have been publishing daily since then. We did NOT stop on 24 June 2016, we just kept on going because we could see what was coming. We have one overriding aim which drives us – to provide official facts and analysis in a form that busy people can read quickly, with bullet-points and simple charts, for those who have busy lives but who care about their country. Condensing complex facts into short articles is of course far more difficult and time-consuming than writing lengthy academic articles which no-one outside Westminster reads. Who we are We’re ordinary people, mostly but not exclusively in business, previously minding our own business and…

Chaired by Lord Lamont and with important guest speakers © Devonshire House Network A Facts4EU.Org invitation to those with an interest in the City and financial services post-Brexit Tuesday, 13 April, 5-6pm – free booking details are below. Facts4EU.Org is pleased to invite interested readers to an online event hosted by the Devonshire House Network and chaired by former Chancellor, The Rt Hon Lord Lamont of Lerwick PC. Here is how the event is described by the Devonshire House Network “The City in the post-Brexit world” “Get Brexit done!” The Brexit Agreement – described by many as ‘thin’ – did this, but left it to others to work out exactly how. The EU then embarked on its smash and grab raid leaving the City wrong-footed. Professor Daniel Hodson,…

Putting Theory Into Practice – Second Compartment: Tools for contacting the media PLEASE NOTE: This action pack was written in 2018 but the same principles apply today. To see the latest factsheets which you may wish to incorporate, please click here. Contacting the broadcast media and combatting the bias The BBC, Sky and ITN constantly protest that they are free of bias regarding Brexit. We find this laughable based on our monitoring of their output on TV and online. Formal surveys which have been carried out on major BBC political programmes have found an overwhelming bias in favour of guests who are anti-Brexit, or who voted Remain. It is our opinion that the BBC (and most other broadcast media organisations) are full of Remain supporters. We also observe…

The Primary Targets: Group 2 – The Media PLEASE NOTE: This action pack was written in 2018 but the same principles apply today. To see the latest factsheets which you may wish to incorporate, please click here. Day after day we read Remainers stating with absolute certainty that the TV media is biased in favour of Brexit. Yes, you read that right. Needless to say, the facts don’t back this up. All surveys of relevant TV programmes (BBC Question Time, Any Questions, the Today Programme, Newsnight, the Marr Show, etc) have shown an overwhelming bias in favour of participants who are Remainers. Even putting aside the detailed analysis that has been done, it’s obvious just from daily viewing how much of the TV media in particular are biased…

Democracy – It’s a Numbers Game PLEASE NOTE: This action pack was written in 2018 but the same principles apply today. To see the latest factsheets which you may wish to incorporate, please click here. What we are aiming to do with this Battle Pack is to inspire hundreds of thousands of ordinary people – including some who voted Remain but who respect democracy – to make their voices heard. Let’s face it, we’re all a bit lazy about this kind of thing, or we’re just too busy. We might turn to a friend, wife, husband or partner and say something, but what good does that do? Things are now getting desperate and desperate measures are required. This means making a commitment. It means you saying to yourself…

Brexit Facts4eu.org “Brexit Battle Pack” – Part 1: First Principles

PLEASE NOTE: This action pack was written in 2018 but the same principles apply today. To see the latest factsheets which you may wish to incorporate, please click here. Let’s begin with a question. How do we best influence the people who matter, to deliver a full, clean Brexit? The big problem is not just that we have a Remainer PM and a Remainer cabinet. In this first part of the series we look at some fundamentals of why Brexit is in this mess, over two years after the EU Referendum. This leads to some basic principles. Principle One The big problem for Brexit is that the entire Establishment is still pro-Remain. They just can’t accept the result of the Referendum, which didn’t go the way it was…
